1. Who We Are
Pledge Advertising LLC (“Pledge Advertising,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a United States-based performance marketing and lead generation company headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida. We operate owned-and-operated web properties and paid media campaigns that connect consumers who are actively shopping for insurance products with licensed agents, agencies, and their partners.
Our services include lead generation, inbound calls, and live transfers across the Medicare, ACA health, final expense, and auto insurance verticals. We are not an insurance company, agency, or broker, and we do not sell insurance, provide insurance quotes, or make coverage or eligibility determinations. Consumer inquiries submitted through our properties are directed to licensed third parties who provide the requested products or services.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through websites, landing pages, forms, telephone interactions, and other digital properties operated by Pledge Advertising LLC that link to this policy. It does not apply to the privacy practices of third parties, including insurance agencies or carriers that contact you after your inquiry, each of which maintains its own privacy policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide directly
- Identifiers such as first and last name, postal address, ZIP code, email address, and telephone number.
- Demographic and qualification details relevant to your inquiry, such as date of birth or age range, gender, household size, estimated household income, current insurance status, coverage type of interest, and (for auto insurance) vehicle count, prior coverage, and licensing status.
- The content of messages, form submissions, contact requests, and any information you voluntarily provide during a telephone conversation.
- Records of your consent, including the date, time, IP address, page URL, and form language presented at the time of submission.
Information collected automatically
- Internet and network activity, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type and identifiers, screen resolution, referring and exit URLs, pages viewed, and time spent on each page.
- Cookies, pixels, tags, session recordings, and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 8.
- Approximate geolocation derived from IP address (city, state, and ZIP-level), used for eligibility routing and campaign reporting. We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Advertising identifiers and click identifiers passed by advertising platforms, such as campaign, source, medium, keyword, and click ID parameters.
Call and lead certification information
- Call tracking data including the telephone number dialed, caller ID, call date and time, duration, call disposition, routing path, and geographic origin.
- Call recordings and transcripts, where recording occurs and where permitted by applicable law and disclosed at the outset of the call.
- Lead certification and consent verification data generated by third-party compliance providers such as Jornaya (LeadiD) and ActiveProspect TrustedForm, including certificate identifiers, session behavior signals, and page snapshots evidencing the disclosure you were shown.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or medical records through our forms. Please do not submit sensitive information beyond what a form requests.
3. How We Collect Information
- Website forms and quote requests you complete on our owned-and-operated properties.
- Inbound telephone calls you place to numbers published in our advertising, and live transfers you consent to during a call.
- Cookies, web beacons, pixels, SDKs, and server-side tagging deployed across our properties.
- Analytics platforms that measure traffic, engagement, and conversion performance.
- Call tracking and telephony platforms that route, measure, and (where applicable) record calls.
- Compliance and lead certification providers that independently document consent at the moment of submission.
- Marketing partners, publishers, and media platforms that operate campaigns on our behalf and transmit consumer inquiries to us, along with the associated consent records.
- Data validation and enrichment vendors used to verify phone numbers, email deliverability, address accuracy, and to screen against suppression and Do Not Call lists.
4. How We Use Information
- To process, qualify, validate, and route your inquiry to licensed agents, agencies, or partners able to provide the product or service you requested.
- To contact you by telephone, email, SMS/text message, or other means regarding your inquiry, consistent with the consent you provided.
- To verify the accuracy of submitted information and to detect duplicate, fraudulent, incentivized, or non-compliant submissions.
- To document and retain proof of consent, including Jornaya and TrustedForm certificates, for regulatory and contractual compliance purposes.
- To operate, measure, and optimize our advertising campaigns, creative, keyword sets, and landing pages.
- To perform analytics, reporting, forecasting, and quality assurance, including reviewing call recordings for agent and campaign quality.
- To maintain the security and integrity of our systems, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms.
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, subpoenas, audits, and lawful requests from regulators or partners.
We do not use consumer information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell insurance products directly to consumers.
6. Consent to Be Contacted
By submitting your information through a form on our website, or by calling a telephone number published in our advertising, you expressly consent to be contacted by Pledge Advertising LLC and by the licensed agents, agencies, IMOs, FMOs, carriers, and partners to whom your inquiry is directed. Contact may occur by telephone call, prerecorded or artificial voice message, automatic telephone dialing system, email, SMS/text message, or other electronic means, at the telephone number and email address you provided, including a wireless number, regarding the products or services you requested.
This consent applies even if the number you provided appears on a federal, state, or corporate Do Not Call registry. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, by using the unsubscribe link in an email, by informing the caller during a telephone conversation, or by contacting us using the details in Section 13. Revocation applies prospectively and may take a reasonable period to process across all systems and partners.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to consent to receive marketing communications in order to purchase any product or service, and you may always reach a licensed agent directly instead of submitting a form.
To document consent, we retain a record of your submission, including the disclosure language displayed, along with independent certification data generated by Jornaya (LeadiD) and TrustedForm.
7. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your state of residence, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Right to know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of recipients.
- Right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to request deletion of personal information, subject to legal and contractual retention obligations.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information where applicable.
- Right to obtain a portable copy of information you provided to us.
- Right to be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any right, email privacy@pledge-advertising.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and include your full name, the phone number and email address used in your inquiry, and the right you wish to exercise. We will verify your identity by matching the information you supply against our records and may request additional information solely for verification. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally within 45 days, with one extension where permitted. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
You may also opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, opt out of SMS by replying STOP, ask to be added to our internal Do Not Call list, and manage cookie-based advertising through the tools described in Section 8. Because inquiries are transmitted to third parties, you may also need to contact those parties directly to stop their communications.
9. Third-Party Services
We rely on established third-party platforms to deliver and measure our services. These include, without limitation:
- Analytics and measurement: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and server-side measurement tools.
- Advertising platforms: Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta, YouTube, and native and programmatic demand partners.
- Call tracking and telephony: call routing, IVR, dynamic number insertion, and call recording providers.
- Lead distribution and CRM: ping-post and API lead delivery platforms and customer relationship management systems used by us and our buyers.
- Compliance and certification: Jornaya (LeadiD) and ActiveProspect TrustedForm for independent consent documentation, plus litigator scrub, DNC scrub, and phone validation vendors.
- Communications and infrastructure: email delivery, SMS delivery, cloud hosting, and security providers.
These providers process information under their own privacy policies and, where applicable, under service provider or processor agreements with us. Our sites may contain links to third-party websites; we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
10. How We Protect Information
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit using TLS, access controls and role-based permissions, credential management and multi-factor authentication for administrative systems, network and endpoint protections, logging and monitoring, vendor due diligence and contractual security commitments, and periodic review of our security practices and employee training.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping any credentials or communications you receive confidential.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. In general, inquiry and contact data is retained for up to twenty-four (24) months from your last interaction for servicing, quality assurance, and suppression purposes; consent records and lead certification data (including Jornaya and TrustedForm certificates) are retained for at least five (5) years to satisfy TCPA and partner audit requirements; call recordings and transcripts are typically retained for twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) months; and analytics and advertising data is retained according to the retention settings of the applicable platform, typically fourteen (14) to twenty-six (26) months.
We retain suppression, opt-out, and Do Not Call records indefinitely so we can continue honoring your request. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it in a manner designed to prevent re-identification. Longer retention may apply where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
12. Children's Privacy
Our websites and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13, and several of our verticals are directed only to adults age 18 and older (and, for Medicare products, generally to individuals age 64 and older or otherwise Medicare-eligible). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information to us may contact us using the details below.
13. Compliance With U.S. Privacy Laws
Pledge Advertising LLC is based in the United States, and our services are directed to U.S. residents only. Information collected is processed and stored in the United States. We design our practices to align with applicable U.S. federal and state requirements, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and FCC implementing rules, the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR) and federal and state Do Not Call requirements, the CAN-SPAM Act, applicable state SMS and call recording consent laws, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and state consumer privacy statutes such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states as they take effect.
We also operate in accordance with the compliance expectations of our lead certification and buyer partners, including one-to-one consent documentation, clear and conspicuous disclosures, and retention of Jornaya and TrustedForm evidence for each submission. California residents may request the disclosures described in Section 7, including a list of categories of personal information disclosed for a business purpose in the preceding twelve months.
